The West Boldon Residents' Association is made up of local residents who represent the interests of everyone living in our area. We play a part in dealing with problems in our local area as well as organising activities like social events., which help to bring people together, particularly those who are socially excluded because of ill health, low incomes, language and cultural differences, or old age. Membership is open to all residents within our area.

Meetings may be attended by local councillors, council officers or the local community beat officers or other guest speakers. These people offer support and solutions to issues raised at our meetings so please get involved.

The Whitburn Village Residents Association meet on a regular basis, discussing local issues and work to improve the community in which they live. High on their priorities is maintaining the community spirit through such avenues as the Barnes coffee shop, run by the association for which they are well known for.
