A184 Integrated Transport Corridor involves Cleadon, East Boldon and West Boldon. West Boldon Residents Association members felt that they were not given sufficient opportunity to be able to contribute ideas towards the scheme. On behalf of the residents, our local councillors have been able to arrange an extra meeting with Council Officers. Council Officers will be at West Boldon Residents Association meeting on Thursday, 18th October 2007.

Location: Boldon Church of England Primary School on Don Gardens. An additional drop-in session to be held after the meeting.

Time: 2.30pm to 5pm.

Quite a few residents turned out to have further discussions about the proposed plans. It was noted that the existing mini roundabout beside Wrightway Car Parts and the Red Lion had been implemented without proper consultation and as a result it was now a hazard that has created many accidents and near misses.
